Hey girl! I see you. I know life is hard, and sometimes it feels like you are the only one who is struggling. But I will be the first to link arms with you today and say, “Me too. I struggle too.”
Life can look so deceiving on social media and through our filtered ideas of what everyone else is doing. But when we learn to view life with clarity and purpose, we find our reason for living. It’s not for likes, or comments, or written words on a wall.
It’s for Jesus. That is why I live.
And I want to encourage you to live for this same purpose and person, nothing else.
The world will tell you to live for yourself, pursue your own passion, and follow your dreams. I’m here to encourage you to follow Jesus. There’s nothing else that will satisfy the longing in your soul.
So as we wrestle through this life and do our best day by day to make a difference, let’s not be deceived by all the filtering and photo shopped views of each other.
When we look into God’s Word, we see something more than filtered lives, tribes, and followers. We see people who tried to do life their own way and ended up struggling and falling and messing up. We see heroes of the faith who followed hard after God, made mistakes along the way, and got back up to finish strong. We see families that are messy, and dysfunctional. Yet, through it all, we gain insight into holiness, wholeness, and who we were made to live for.
My passion is to share with you that Jesus changed my life and He can change yours too.
Sometimes we get really good at talking churchy and pretending life is great. Life is hard, y’all. Let’s look at it through an unfiltered lens and let go of the pursuit of perfection that traps us.
Girl! You were made for more than watching everyone else’s highlight reel scroll past your eyes. It’s time to get our eyes on Jesus!
