Bible Basics Children’s Book Giveaway!

I’ve been on a bit of a blogging break as I follow the direction God is leading me in this season. In February we finished up a series that led me to a place of pause. So for most of March I’ve been waiting for direction from God for the next blog series (also I’ve been finishing up final edits on my book that comes out THIS FALL! EEK! I’ll share more about that soon!).

I am excited to share with you that we will be diving into a new blog series in April titled – Peace in Unknown Seasons. I’m super excited about it and I pray that you will be encouraged and blessed by the simple words God gives me to share with you. If the unknowns of life have made you doubt or question God, this series will offer peace in the most perplexing problems of life.

For today though, I have a fun giveaway for you! If you have a little person in your life that you want to share the truths of the Bible with, this giveaway is for you! The giveaway goes through Tuesday night! Enter by subscribing to my blog in the box below this post!

BIBLE BASICS CHILDREN’s BOOK GIVEAWAY!

Children are so impressionable. I want to know that the things I’m doing are sinking in and are making a difference in the lives of my children.

Before my children knew what a book was, I began reading to them. Sometimes, it was a struggle when they were toddlers to get them to sit still, but eventually they began to love books.

It is good for their development, and it also introduces them to the value of reading and learning new things.

The most valuable book they will ever read is the Bible. When reading to my children, I often choose books that talk about the Bible, tell Bible stories, and/or teach Bible principles. It’s never too early to instill biblical truth in the heart and mind of your little one.

This week I am giving away a book that would be a fabulous gift for the little one in your life!

And now for a fabulous GIVEAWAY

for your little one! Yay!

I love this book by Danielle Hitchen! It’s a sturdy board book for little ones and it covers many of the fundamental foundations of the Bible. It’s a counting book too! To give you a sneak peek it covers things like the Trinity (3), the Fruits of the Spirit (9). As you count with your little one you’ll also be introducing them to some foundational truths from God’s Word.

To enter the giveaway simply subscribe to my blog by entering your email in the box below this post! If you’ve already subscribed simply leave a comment with the title of your favorite children’s book.

Winner will be announced Wednesday on my Facebook Page!

Love & Blessings,

Micah

    1. I need to check out Eric Carle. We love Bible stories too! I hope your move and transition is going well! We need to catch up soon!

  1. Micah! Good Morning! It is good to “hear” from you again, but glad you we able to take some time to rest and refresh a bit. :)

I have two children’s book favs. The first one (that I have use with adults, too) is The Jesus Storybook Bible, Every Story Whispers His Name by Sally Lloyd-Jones (illustrated by Jago). It tells stories from both the OT and NT and shows how every one points to Jesus. The illustrations are so creative too.

The other is God Gave Us_______(You, Easter, Christmas and more) Series. It uses Little Cub’s questions and Papa and Mama’s answers to explains God’s plan for His children. So sweet.

Looking forward to you new book…how exciting! Thank you for your caring and kind spirit as you let us read what God has written upon your heart.

Warm blessings on this rather dreary and cool Monday! You are a bit of sunshine today!

    1. Thank you for the warm welcome back, Linda! I love the children’s books you mentioned! Those are some of our favorites too! I hope you have a blessed week!

  2. This is amazing!! My kiddos love Dr Suess, and we have been going through a children’s Bible book, which really helps them to understand the Basic stories that we all know and love. They are still pretty young right now, so I’m really looking forward to what types of books will spark their interest in the future.
Love you Micah, and always praying for you my friend!

  3. Love this! My favorite children’s book is HARD to pick. I really am loving the Mary Poppins series we are listening to right now on audible!

    1. I love audible books for the kids! Haven’t listened to the Mary Poppins series. I know my kids would love that though! I hope you and your littles are enjoying a new week! Hugs!

  4. So good to hear from you again, sweet friend! Your words are always so full of wisdom and peace. Currently, in our home any of the Elephant and Piggie books by Mo Willems are the favorite! I am also a personal fan of Max Lucado’s children’s books. Thanks for letting me enter your drawing! Sweet blessings to you!
